Officials are springing to action after a water main burst on Main St, Pahīatua. A water main has burst near a liquor store in Pahīatua. The burst pipe happened outside the Big Barrel liquor store on Main St shortly before midday on Thursday. “Our teams are currently working urgently to resolve this issue,” a Tararua District Council Facebook post says. “We will share an update once this issue has been fixed.”
