POLICE in Hyderabad, India recently rescued a newborn baby girl as her family was about to bury her alive in a hastily-dug pit. It soon emerged that the man holding the baby girl was her own grandfather. According to the Daily Mail, the baby girl is undergoing treatment at hospital while an investigation is carried out. The case comes just two weeks after another Indian newborn baby girl was found alive after being left in a clay pot for two days. She was discovered by a man who was digging a grave for his own unwanted newborn daughter.
