It is understood that Jaffer was offered the Bangladesh job during his tenure as a player at Abahani Limited in the Dhaka Premier League 2019. Jaffer, in Abahani, had Khaled Mahmud as the team’s coach who is also the chairman of the BCB game development committee. The Bangladesh U-19 has started to prepare themselves keeping the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup next year in focus. In October-November, Bangladesh U-19 will host their Sri Lankan counterparts at home.
