Launched by International Labour Organisation in 2002, World Day Against Child Labour is observed by the United Nations on June 12 every year. In India, The Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986, defines the kind of work children below 14 cannot do. But every June 12, World Day Against Child Labour, is a jolt to its conscience. "We are writing slogans on walls to tell people child labour is bad," Vikas said.
