Six relatives, including four children, were killed after a perimeter wall collapsed on their residential house in Kizingo, Mombasa, yesterday. The incident occurred at 3pm, when the perimeter wall of Pandya Memorial Hospital collapsed following heavy rains that pounded the area from morning. “This has happened following the heavy rains. National Land Commission chairman Muhammad Swazuri said the land was grabbed by Pandya Hospital. Meanwhile, the heavy rains rendered the Mariakani-Kilifi road impassable after the bridge at Mbogolo was submerged.
