Hugo Calderano continued his dominance over Quadri Aruna at big stage as the world number five defeated the Nigerian 4-0 in the quarter-final of the men’s singles at the WTT Singapore Smash ongoing at the Sports Hub in Singapore, Saturday PUNCH reports. The Brazilian played his best match against the African champion dominating in all departments to put an end to the unbeaten run of Aruna at the lucrative WTT Smash Series. Both players started well in the first game playing with a lot of caution and matching each other in all departments. But it was the South American that claimed the first game at 11-7. A disappointed Quadri admitted that he was far from his best in the encounter.
