Bola Tinubu, of the ruling All Progressives Congress party, was declared the winner of the presidential election with 8.8m votes. Obi, the Labour party candidate whom many think represents the best chance of change, said the poll would 'go down as one of the most controversial elections ever conducted in Nigeria'.
