KUALA LUMPUR: Following the Keramat tahfiz fire which shocked the country recently, cosmetic millionairess Datuk Seri Dr Hasmiza Othman a.k.a. Vida expressed her wish to adopt the 18 children who survived the tragedy. It was reported in BH Online that the 45-year-old entrepreneur also voiced her intention of taking the children of Darul Quran Ittifaqiyah tahfiz school for a holiday, to help them recover from their traumatising experience. “I’d also want to bring them to my house in Ipoh and entertain them there for a month,” said the businesswoman, who also plans to bring the children to Mecca for umrah. Vida also said that she could empathise with the children, as she herself lost two of her children (Muhammad Eddie Zuhdi Mohd Amin, 11, and Muhammad Edrie Zikrie, 10) in a fire four years ago.
