Version 1’s sixth UK acquisition with deal for Cedar Consulting

Irish IT services company Version 1 has bought London firm Cedar Consulting, its sixth UK acquisition over the last five years. No financial details of the deal were disclosed although industry sources estimated it would add about €6 million to Version 1’s turnover. Version 1’s total employee numbers following the latest acquisition now stands at over 1,100 with forecasted full-year revenues for 2018 of €120 million. Cedar Consulting will become part of Version 1’s rapidly-growing ERP practice with its directors Simon Wragg and Graham Varley set to join its new parent’s management team. The acquisition of Cedar Consulting is the sixth in a programme of UK acquisitions, the most recent of which saw it acquire JD Edwards specialist Beoley Mill Software.
