VUFO honours outgoing Polish AmbassadorVice President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations (VUFO) Bui Khac Son on May 8 presented the “For peace and friendship among nations” insignia to outgoing Polish Ambassador to Vietnam Barbara Szymanowska in recognition of her contributions to the growth of cooperation and friendship between the two countries’ people. The VUFO Vice President also highlighted that the Polish diplomat has given many initiatives to support and coordinate the VUFO in launching diplomatic activities, while actively engaging in the organisation’s activities. He expressed his hope that in any position, Szymanowska will continue making contributions to the development of friendship and affiliation between the two countries. She thanked the VUFO for assisting her in learning the history, culture and diverse traditions of Vietnam. The diplomat held that the friendship and partnership between the two countries will continue thriving in all fields.
