A Biman Bangladesh aircraft, carrying the coffins, landed in Dhaka shortly after 4pm on Thursday. The bodies of the 23 victims were flown back to Dhaka on Monday and handed over to families. On Wednesday, Nepali authorities informed the Bangladesh Embassy that the bodies of the three remaining dead Bangladeshi passengers — Alifuzzaman, Pias Roy and Mohammad Nazrul Islam — were identified. On Thursday, the Bangladesh mission in Kathmandu held a funeral service at its premises after Nepali authorities handed over the bodies. Civil Aviation Minister AKM Shahjahan Kamal handed over the bodies of the three to their families at the Dhaka airport.
