Kawsar Molla and Farhad Gazi were sentenced to death and two other convicts, Suruj Mia and Suparna, were jailed for life for killing two friends. In 2010, Zakiur Rahman Jewell, a technician of Hyundai LED Company, and his friend Sabuj were hacked to death and beheaded after they visited Suparna’s house. Over a romantic relationship with her suitor Sabuj, Suparna invited them and spiked a drink with narcotic pills. Later, Kawsar, Farhad and Suruj hacked them to death. Convict Farhad Gazi is a cousin of Suparna.
