The victim’s parents accompanied their child to the Quezon City Anonas Police Station where they filed a report of the incident, Chief Supt. The Philippine National Police (PNP) said it was willing to intervene and investigate the incident but was waiting for the involved parties to come forward. The agency said bullying was a complex issue between parties involved, including the bully himself, pointing out that school officials and parents should be able to intervene. “Coming up with a definite and clear procedures and mechanisms on how to address the bullying will be of great help to all involved,” CHR added.
