3 gunrunners nabbed in PasigBy The Manila TimesTHREE gunrunners tagged in numerous gun-related violence in several cities were arrested on Saturday in Pasig City, the Eastern Police District (EPD) said. The EPD said the suspects were involved in several arms running activities and robberies in Pasig City, provinces of Bulacan and Rizal and adjacent areas. A body search on the suspects yielded nine sachets of shabu, a colt caliber .38 revolver loaded with six live ammunition, a caliber 22 loaded with three live ammunition and six caliber 45 ammunition and P2000 drug money from Suarez. Gaspar was frisked with a Llama Caliber 380 with an ammunition cartridge with seven live ammunition. All the suspects will be facing charges for violating of Republic Act (RA) 10591 for Illegal possession of firearms and RA 9165 for possession 12 sachets of suspected shabu before the Pasig City Prosecutor’s Office.
