Police at the scene of an early morning crash between a car and truck which killed two people in Kensington, Dunedin. Specialists are helping identify two people killed in a fiery crash in Dunedin on Saturday morning. At around 3.30am, a car caught fire after colliding with a truck on King Edward St in the suburb of Kensington. A second passenger of the car and the driver of the truck were both transported to Dunedin Hospital where they remain. The crash happened outside the Kensington Tavern, and was less than 20 metres from a speed camera on King Edward St, which was installed in early 2018.
