BAYLEYS Pakatoa Island has been on the market for 25 years. It's also been on and off market for 25 years, according to the current agent, and I can't for the life of me figure out why. BAYLEYS The island is just a 75 minute boat ride and 15 minute helicopter ride from Auckland. Unlike other places around the world, an island coming on the market in Aotearoa-NZ is rare - few are privately owned, with good reason - but they do come up. BAYLEYS While buildings on the island may be a little outdated, the island has infrastructure for development.
