Nabiganj police station OC Ikbal Hossain said: "On Friday afternoon Sijil Mia went to a nearby haor to fish when it was raining. Locals found his body after he died at the spot as lightning struck." Meanwhile in the same afternoon in the Chunarughat upazila, Shima was returning home during the storm. After locals rescued her and brought her to Habiganj Sadar Hospital, the duty doctor declared her dead, confirmed Chunarughat police station OC KM Azmiruzzaman.
