Shamim said: "The prime minister sent the gifts from her private fund to spread the joy of Eid. Having received the Eid gifts, Mim, Chadni, Kulsum, and Sharmin expressed their joy and said: “Every year the prime minister presents us with Eid dresses. These gifts spread the festivity of Eid among the children." Acting President of Tungipara Upazila Awami League unit, Ilias Hossain, Upazila Chairman Solaiman Biswas, Deputy Director of Gopalganj District Social Welfare Office Samir Mallik, were also present at the event.
