Two suspects are being held by Kakamega police after they allegedly attacked and assaulted three clergymen. Police on Saturday said the two were part of a six member gang which raided a local Catholic Parish in Matungu Kakamega County. Area OCPD Paul Kiprono said the two were arrested on Saturday after preliminary investigations linked them to the attack at the Ejinja Parish on Friday night. According to Fred Machoni a cook at the Parish, the attack occurred after he had served the priests with their supper. He said as he was being terrorised in the kitchen, another gang stormed the house of the priest where he had been visited by three other clergies.
