Twenty people have died after a limousine crashed outside a popular tourist spot in the US state of New York. A limousine crash that killed 20 people in the US "sounded like an explosion", a witness says. Eighteen people in the speeding limousine and two bystanders died after the crash with another vehicle at popular upstate New York tourist spot, Apple Barrel Country Store in Schoharie, about 270 kilometres north of New York City. State police confirmed Sunday the death toll and said the crash involved two vehicles. The aunt of one of the victims in the crash said the limousine was on its way to a birthday celebration.
