Together they chose two sections side-by-side in Terrace Views, Papamoa and then decided to each build their own new showhomes. After some serious rounds of scissors, paper, rock (best of three) Shane chose the high spec build and Kirsty the entry level build. "Part of the reason we decided to do the 'Showhome Showdown' is to show people how much you really can customise a new build to suit your own tastes and living requirements," he explains. The votes were tallied and Shane's 'His' themed showhome walked away with the win, 485 votes to 285. "The Showhome Showdown was so much fun," says Kirsty "…it was a really cool project and we are really happy that the money went to a good cause and will make a positive impact."
