President Trump sent federal officers and National Guard reinforcements to a small city in Wisconsin last night, hours after unrest prompted by the police shooting of a black man burst into deadly violence. Two people were killed as protesters, police and a group of self-appointed white militia members confronted each other on the third night of disturbances in Kenosha, on the western shore of Lake Michigan, following the police shooting of Jacob Blake on Sunday. A video that swiftly went viral showed a young white man with a rifle shooting from point-blank range at protesters who chased him down a residential street towards a police blockade. Kyle Rittenhouse, 17, was arrested 15 miles away from Kenosha in Antioch, Illinois, and charged with murder.
