Trump heading to New Jersey for 17-day working vacation

WASHINGTON - U.S. President Donald Trump will spend 17 days at his golf resort in New Jersey beginning Friday, the White House has said. The White House stressed Trump needed to leave due to the renovations and would continue to work while in New Jersey. "I would rarely leave the White House because there's so much work to be done," Trump said during his election campaign. White House aides have long pointed out that the leader of the world's largest economy can never really take a break. Trump has demonstrated his willingness to work remotely, ordering a strike on Syria during a Mar-a-Lago visit earlier this year.
