True Shopping shuts amid expanding digital rebootTrue Shopping, operated by True GS, announced the closure of its home shopping business on April 1 after more than 14 years of operation, citing intensifying competition in the retail and e-commerce sectors. True GS is a joint venture between four companies: TrueVisions, GS Home Shopping of South Korea, CP All and The Mall Group. The company offered products across multiple platforms, including TV, online, satellite and terrestrial digital TV, pay TV, and social media networks. For vendors with outstanding receivables related to unsold or remaining inventory, True GS confirmed that all debts will be settled in full. True GS said that appropriate support measures are being implemented for employees to assist them during the transition and enable them to pursue new career opportunities.
