According to Kamalapur Railway Station officials, four intercity trains missed their timelines. Dhumketu Express, which departed from Rajshahi, reached Dhaka at 7:20am although it was scheduled to reach Kamalapur Railway Station at 4:50am. All four of the said trains also failed to stay on schedule when they transported passengers to their hometowns before Eid. Md Shafiqur Rahman, a passenger coming from Natore said: “We left Natore at 6am and reached Dhaka at 11am. There was no jam on the roads.”Dream Line bus conductor Md Momin said, they left Chittagong at 8am and reached Dhaka at 11am.
