Train services to Sylhet suspended againTrain services between Sylhet and rest of the country have been suspended again just two days after it was restored. The authorities halted services once again on Wednesday after a bridge in Moulvibazar’s Sreemangal Upazila turned 'risky' following heavy rainfalls, said Sreemangal’s Assistant Station Master Sakhwat Hossain.Trains on the routes had resumed on Monday after remaining suspended for four days. The recent rainfall and landslides washed away several layers of soil from underneath the bridge between Sreemangal and Satgaon railway stations making it risky for the trains to operate, he said.Hossain could not say when the services would be restored again. On March 29, lands underneath a pillar of a bridge got washed away at Habiganj’s Madhabpur. The pillar collapsed next morning during repair work. – source bdnews24.com
