Both the countries will do necessary dredging jointly. The MoU will considerably reduce the logistics cost of cargo movement to North Eastern India. It will also reduce the congestion through the Siliguri Chicken’s Neck corridor. The MoU will be signed during Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's four-day India visit starting Friday.
