Bulbul assumed the office at 11 am on Wednesday, said his Personal Assistant Abdul Salam Biplob. The BNP leader was elected to the mayor’s office in the 2013 Rajshahi City Corporation Elections. Bulbul returned to his duties at the city corporation offices on Sunday, but was suspended again soon after. Bulbul filed a writ petition challenging the suspension. An hour later, he was administered into his office by Rajshahi City Corporation Secretary Khandker Mahbubur Rahman.
