An investigation is underway in Riverside County after a devastating plane crash claiming the lives of 6 individuals near the French Valley Airport on Saturday. The crash occurred near Auld and Briggs roads around 4:16 a.m., when a Cessna C550 business jet went down in a field. Simpson further explained that the low clouds and visibility were “right at the minimums” for landing at the French Valley Airport that morning. This sorrowful event marks the second plane crash in the same area within a week. On Tuesday, another plane carrying four people crashed near Murrieta.
