KUALA LUMPUR: A 51-year-old tour guide was fined RM5,000 in default seven months jail by a magistrate's court here for threatening to kill his employer and showing his genitals to her at a hotel on Wednesday (Dec 20). Prakash admitted to committing criminal intimidation on 29-year-old M. Vinothini by uttering death threats, an offence under Section 506 of the Penal Code. He also admitted to a charge of insulting her modesty by showing his genitals to her, an offence under Section 509 of the same Code. Both offences were committed at a hostel room in Hotel Buddy's on Jalan Sultan Ismail at 6am on Dec 20. The magistrate then handed down a RM2,000 fine in default of three months jail for criminal intimidation and a RM3,000 fine in default of seven months jail for insulting the victim's modesty.
