AFFORDABLE healthcare is thriving in the fast-growing town of Bandar Baru Bangi and surrounding areas such as Putrajaya, Serdang, Nilai, Kajang, Bandar Seri Putra and Bandar Bukit Mahkota. One of the earliest providers of affordable healthcare in Bandar Baru Bangi is Medic IG Holdings, which is expanding as people seek lower medical cost. Managing director Shaharom Md Shariff said the company’s new An-Nur Specialist Hospital (ANSH) in Section 15, Bandar Baru Bangi will cater for affordable healthcare demand. Medic IG stands to benefit from this trend, and shall initiate several syariah-driven hospitals, such as ANSH, to meet the growing demand. Shaharom said Medic IG is planning to set up more hospitals nationwide by 2050 to maintain its leadership position as a syariah-driven healthcare provider.
