The Creative Assembly's Rome 2 empire expands into North Africa and Arabia with next month's DLC, The Desert Kingdoms. The culture pack adds four playable factions: "the Kingdoms of Kush, Saba and Nabatea fall under the African/Arabian subculture, while the Masaesyli are of Numidian origin." The DLC also places heavy emphasis on adding playable female leaders to the game, including Cleopatra of Egypt and Teuta of Illyria, while important female characters have been added to all campaigns and across all factions. The Desert Kingdoms releases on March 8 for US$11.49.
