Officers received the call around 12:10 p.m. in the area of Ellesmere Rd. N.Toronto police say they are searching for a suspect allegedly responsible for a Scarborough carjacking that unfolded in broad daylight on Saturday. They say a woman in her 30s was standing near her car when she was approached by a man who demanded she give him her keys. The suspect is described as an 18-year-old black man with a short Afro. At the time of the incident, police said he was wearing a white baseball cap with black lettering.
