Toronto police investigate threat to Jewish school at Bloor and Spadina


Toronto police are investigating a threat made over the phone to the Downtown Jewish Community School at Bloor Street West and Spadina Avenue. Jenifferjit Sidhu, spokesperson for the Toronto Police Service, said the school and the Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre, in which the school is located, have been evacuated as police investigate. The intersection of Bloor Street West and Spadina Avenue has been closed for the demonstration, she said. ^CdK — @TPSOperationsHowlett Academy, a Toronto private school nearby, has been locked down, and University of Toronto police have been notified about the threat. TTC buses are on scene to shelter people forced out of the school and community centre.
