KUANTAN: A businessman here was shot in the neck during a robbery at his house by three men on Saturday morning. A source revealed that as the victim was lying wounded on the floor, the three suspects fled in a Perodua Axia in the 5.58am incident at Jaya Gading here. In their haste to flee, one of the robbers dropped a piece of evidence which may help police in their investigation. "One of the suspects (accidentally) dropped a wallet at the scene, and checks on it (revealed that) it belongs to a policeman attached to the Kuantan district police headquarters," the source said. He added that police are investigating the matter under Section 392 of the Penal Code for armed robbery.
