PASIR MAS: A man leapt over a woman performing her Subuh prayers in the Kasar Mosque here yesterday and fled with a purse containing RM60 and a mobile phone. In the incident which occurred at 5.55am, the man jumped over the woman who was praying in the second row of the congregation before taking a purse and mobile phone located in the front row which belonged to another woman in her 60s. He said as soon as the congregational prayer started, the man went to the women’s praying section before escaping with the items. The CCTV footage is now viral online after being uploaded by a mosque committee member. Meanwhile, Pasir Mas deputy police chief Superintendent Ismail Jusoh when contacted said they had yet to receive a report on the matter.
