After the Centre and state's crackdown on separatists and the number of stone pelting incidents in Jammu and Kashmir has come down. DG, CRPF, RR Bhatnagar speaks to India Today's Kamaljit Sandhu on the slowdown in the stone pelting incidents and how has there been a fall. "If you compare the number of stone pelting incidents to last year, there has been a sizeable decrease in the stone pelting incidents. Our handling of the stone pelting and the violent mob has also come of age. Through our experience, new SOPs and also through the use of less lethal weapons, we are able to control the mob without causing deaths," RR Bhatnagar, DG, CRPF, said.
