When you’re buying electronics — phones, televisions, laptops — it often pays to wait, rather than rush for the latest model. Take Porsche’s new sports car, the Taycan. When it was launched last year, the top-of-the-range model, the Turbo S, cost £138,826. Those who held off have been rewarded by the car in the picture, the 4S, due in UK showrooms in April. At £83,367 before the £3,500 plug-in grant, it’s a substantial saving, and it’ll do 90% of what the Turbo S will do for 60% of the price.
