The city woke to a cool and fine morning today, and by noon, the temperature was at 21 degrees. The Observatory’s latest nine-day weather forecast showed the mercury would dip low starting mid-week this week. The local weather will be cold on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. The forecast for New Year's Eve was a low of 8 degrees, with a high of only 13 degrees.
