(File Photo)A teen charged following a police pursuit in north Taranaki has been remanded into custody ahead of a court date this week. The 18-year-old was arrested in Waitara on September 26 following the police chase which saw road spikes used twice to try and stop a ute. The Taranaki man has been charged with unlawfully taking a motor vehicle, driving while disqualified, failing to stop, endangering transport and committing a burglary with a weapon. He appeared in the New Plymouth District Court on Friday and was remanded into custody ahead of his next hearing on October 3.
