GEORGE TOWN: A teenager is feared to have drowned when swimming at Pantai Miami, Batu Ferringhi on Thursday. The 18-year-old was swimming with his 15-year-old brother when the incident happened about noon. A Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said they received a distress call about 12.17pm and rushed to the scene within 18 minutes. “However, members of the public managed to save the younger brother and rushed him to the Penang Hospital for treatment,” he said. An operation has been launched to search for the other missing teenager.
