Rule one: do try to avoid marrying a close relative of your victim if you can – it makes life easier. If only I could have offered this helpful gem to Russell Tovey’s character Nathan in four-part thriller The Sister, which dominated ITV’s schedules this week. We don’t know how she died, only that Nathan and his weird friend Bob have been carrying the secret ever since. Nathan’s not so keen – he can’t risk his wife Holly (aka the victim’s sister!) If you reached Thursday’s concluding part, you’ll know the finale upped the ante, with a couple of genuinely gasp-worthy moments.
