TNT comes from behind to beat Northport, 104-102

TNT KaTropa relied on the superb performance of Terrence Romeo and import Marqus Blakely late in the game to pull off a 104-102 come-from-behind triumph over Northport on Sunday in the Philippine Basketball Association Season 43 Governors’ Cup at the Araneta Coliseum. Down 71-87 heading into the last quarter, Romeo and Blakely combined for 24 of TNT’s 33 fourth quarter points to erase the 16-point deficit enroute to stealing the win and bagging its fourth victory after eight games. “We are working hard and we really need to sustain our energy. There’s no secret about it but it’s our concern now our energy. We emphasized also our defense,” said TNT coach Bong Ravena, who earned his second victory since replacing Nash Racela as head coach last September 21.
