A 12-year-old wushu athlete died in what appeared to be a freak accident inside the compound of the Philippine Sports Commission in Malate, Manila on Saturday, according to reports. Rastafari Darallay allegedly fell from a double decker inside the wushu team’s quarters. Reports said the boy woke up briefly after he fell to return to his bed where he died in his sleep. Officials from the Wushu Federation of the Philippines (WFP) and the Philippine Sports Commission are being asked to submit their reports on the incident. A relative of Rastafari who posted a photo of the boy on Twitter requested for privacy when sought for comment by The Manila Times.
