THE Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) assured the family of a Filipina in Sweden of justice after she was allegedly killed by her Swedish actor-husband last week. The DFA on Sunday expressed its condolences to the family of Mailyn Conde Sinambong, a Filipina mother of two based in Kista, Sweden. Foreign Affairs Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano was informed of the request of the victim’s mother, Maria Monato, for assistance, which she personally coursed through the DFA Consular Office in Cebu. The embassy said the Swedish government provided a lawyer to handle the case. The embassy is also in touch with Sinambong’s aunt in Norway and her mother in Medellin, Cebu.
