The weather watchers say the muggy weather will continue for a few days. The highest temperature in the capital was recorded on Sunday at 35.5° Celsius. The country's highest temperature on the day, 36.9°C, was recorded in Jessore. The highest amount of 105mm of rain was recorded in Cox's Bazar in last 24 hours. In the weather forecast for Monday, the Met Office said monsoon was less active over Bangladesh and weak over North Bay.
