KUALA LUMPUR: More than 400 students and lecturers of a private university college in Bandar Utama had to evacuate the building, no thanks to a hoax bomb threat this afternoon. Police were alerted to the incident at 12.30pm, about 30 minutes after the caller made the prank call. "Your college got bomb (sic), students put the bomb,” the caller had claimed. Petaling Jaya police chief ACP Mohd Zani Che Din said police evacuated the building as a precautionary measure. The students, lecturers and university staff were allowed to re-enter the premises by 2.30pm after the building was deemed safe and free of threats.
