KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 10): The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) has revoked the Capital Market Services Representative's Licence (CMSRL) of Jason Ong Kok Aun, formerly attached with RHB Investment Bank Bhd, for engaging in improper business practices. In a statement today, the SC said the revocation was effective since Sept 13. Ong's licence was revoked under section 72 read together with section 65 of the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 (CMSA). The SC said it finds Ong no longer fit and proper to carry out regulated activities in the Malaysian capital market. Ong has not filed any appeal against SC's decision within the prescribed time as provided under the CMSA, the regulator added.
