KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 10): The FBM KLCI rose 1.64 points or 0.1%, tracking US stock futures gains as investors followed the US presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. At 12:30pm, the KLCI settled at 1,667.02 points. Across Bursa Malaysia, 678.54 million shares were transacted for RM456.84 million. Reuters reported that the Mexican peso climbed and US stock futures crept higher on Monday as markets saw less chance of a victory by Republican nominee Donald Trump in his US presidential bid amid a scandal over comments he made about women. EMini futures for the S&P 500 rose 0.2%.
