He said that the opposition is misleading the public by claiming the numerous multi-billion shillings projects in the country are sponsored by international bodies. Last month, Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho and his Kilifi counterpart Amason Kingi said President Uhuru Kenyatta should stop bragging about international aid funded projects. Mr Wamalwa said the government has developed and tarmacked roads in marginalised areas, something which was never achieved by the previous governments for the last 50 years since independence. “In order to ensure food security, the government set up Galana Kulalu project and commissioned the Sh2.7 Magarini-Kakuyuni-Kilifi water project to assist in irrigation and domestic water use,” he said.
